Basement Barn's Candle Safety Tips
- Trim wick to 1/4 inches before every burn.
- Keep wax clear of debris and wick trimmings.
- Always burn your candle on a heat resistant surface.
- Keep your lit candle away from drafts.
- Keep candles away from kids and pets.
- Do not place candle near anything that could catch on fire.
- Do not extinguish with water or other liquid.
- Do not re-light a melted candle.
- Let wax cool and fully harden before touching or moving.
- NEVER leave a burning candle unattended.
The first burn is the most important burn!
Upon lighting your candle for the first time, make sure to burn your candle long enough for the wax to melt all the way to the edge of the container.
